Asociación Civil Angel Azul are the first organisation of trans women in Peru. Defending the human rights of sex workers in their community is their priority and they work on advocacy activities to report acts of violence and discrimination committed in public institutions of the state and in civil society.

Asociacion Goover are an association made up of Male Sex Workers (MSW) who look for the recognition of men in sex work. They advocate for respect for their work with full labor guarantees and they work to be included and involved in the processes of the sex worker rights movement.

COVID-19 Impact – Latin America
In April 2020, NSWP launched a global survey to understand the impact of COVID-19 on sex workers. The survey received 156 responses in total, from 55 different countries, out of which 9 responses were from 4 countries – Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and El Salvador – in the Latin America region.
COVID-19 Impact – El Salvador
The COVID-19 pandemic is a crisis unlike any other. The virus, which has spread across the world in just a few months, has affected the lives of millions of people and has profoundly changed the ways we live and work. For sex workers, this is a bad situation that has been made worse with restricted access to emergency funds and essential healthcare and an increase in raids, surveillance, and stigma.
