Идеология, цели и зарождающиеся альянсы между движениями против прав представляют угрозу для секс-работников. Чтобы эффективнее добиваться защиты прав секс-работников, нужно лучше понимать эти угрозы.

В последние годы все большее влияние в мире приобретают движения против прав маргинализованных и уголовно преследуемых групп населения. Представители этих движений смогли добиться больших ограничений на пересечение границ в нарушение права на перемещение и миграцию. Организации, которые выступают против сексуального и репродуктивного здоровья и прав (СРЗП) и против прав ЛГБТИ, добились ограничений в доступе к сексуальным и репродуктивным услугам для женщин и в доступе к услугам по смене пола для трансгендерных и гендерно небинарных людей, что нарушает право на здоровье.

NSWP welcomes reports that the online platform OnlyFans has reversed its decision to ban content containing “sexually-explicit conduct” on its website from October 2021, after the backlash the announcement received from its users. The plan would have resulted in a severe loss of income for many sex workers, including those who have moved online to work during the COVID-19 pandemic, and for whom OnlyFans has become a main source of income as the pandemic continues.

The Global Network of Sex Work Projects (NSWP) would like to take this opportunity to express its support for Dr. Tlaleng Mofokeng, who in July 2020 was appointed as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health.

Following a global consultation with members, the NSWP Consensus Statement reaffirms NSWP ’s
global advocacy platform for sex work, human rights and the law. The Consensus Statement is issued on behalf of NSWP members and the sex workers they represent including sex workers of all genders, class, race, ethnicity, health status, age, nationality, citizenship, language, education levels, disabilities, and many other factors.

The statement covers eight rights:

Em 1998, no Departamento de Metodologia de Ensino da Universidade Federal de São Carlos, um projeto com o título genérico de “Prevenção e Saúde” retomava um trabalho realizado em 1991 junto à profissionais do sexo de uma casa noturna de São Carlos. Comemoramos, neste ano de 2003, 5 anos de atividades. Como coordenadora do projeto e do grupo, retomo aqui, de forma bastante resumida, a história desse grupo, os resultados alcançados e os desafios que a ele se colocam.
