NSWP is recruiting for a Communications Officer, to join the NSWP team either as a part-time (80%) staff member in Edinburgh, or as a consultant (based outside of the UK).
The aim of this post is to further develop and implement a highly effective communications strategy supported by a multi-lingual website, listservs and other social media platforms. The work will require a combination of strong interpersonal, writing and website management skills (Drupal), with an ability to recognise and respond to different regional and member organisations’ needs through effective use of multi-lingual electronic communication tools and networking.
The communications work will support the work of the NSWP in:
- Providing a platform for regional networks and member organisations to share information and amplify the voices of sex workers globally.
- Advocating at regional and global levels for policies and action, which further the human rights of female, male and transgender sex workers.
- Making information accessible on the NSWP website.
