Who do you work with?

Male, female and trans sex workers, migrant sex workers, third parties, families, children, partners and friends.

How are sex workers involved in your organisation?

As peer workers, participating in programme design, implementation, advocacy etc

Which of NSWP priority areas does your organisation work on?
Oppose the criminalisation and other legal oppression of sex work and support its recognition as work
Advocate for universal access to health services, including primary health care, HIV and sexual and reproductive health services
Speak out about violence against sex workers, including violence from police, institutions, clients, and intimate partners, while challenging the myth that sex work is inherently gender-based violence
Oppose human rights abuses, including coercive programming, mandatory testing, raids and forced rehabilitation
Challenge stigma and discrimination against sex workers, their families and partners, and others involved in sex work
What are the two main challenges that the sex workers you work with face

Main challenges are insufficient health and social care as well as they are not recognised by any national document but Penal Law and National AIDS strategy. Other challenges are connected to community which is not strengthen enough to organise and work on issues of human rights protection etc. On the other hand, 50% of sex workers are not citizens and are more exposed to the lack of care and security provided by state. At the end, high percentage of sex workers are using drugs and have limited access to health care, as well as they are more vulnerable to different sort of harassment and violence.
