ICRSE work with sex workers of all genders, migration or HIV status working in every sector of the sex industry.
The majority of ESWA board members are sex workers. Sex workers can be individual members of ESWA and sex worker led organisations can be members too. Sex workers can communicate through the mailing list and interacvtive website.
Sex workers in our region face high levels of stigmatisation, discsimination and violence. Several legal frameworks exist in our region: from "legalised" environment, criminalisation of clients or third parties, or criminalisation of sex workers. Sex workers have very diffcult access to justice and in some parts of our region to health services. Migrants and trans sex workers face particularly high levels of violence and discimination.
ESWA strives to raise awareness about the social exclusion of female, male and transgender sex workers in Europe, to promote the human and civil rights of all sex workers at national, regional and global levels and to create strong alliances between sex workers, allies and other civil society organisations.
