What are the two main challenges that the sex workers you work with face

El factor migratorio atraviesa todos los ámbitos vitales de las personas que atendemos. La Ley de Extranjería las aboca a la precariedad y la falta de acceso a los derechos que disfruta el resto de la ciudadanía. Sumado a esto, se enfrentan principalmente a: - El estigma. Provoca aislamiento, ausencia de autoorganización del colectivo, desinformación. - La “alegalidad” del trabajo sexual. Provoca una ausencia total de derechos laborales (lo que conlleva inseguridad, explotación…) y falta de acceso a recursos sanitarios, sociales, habitacionales…
The migration factor intersects with all of the issues faced by the people we serve. The Law on Foreigners leads to precariousness and lack of access to the rights enjoyed by the rest of the population. Added to this, their main problem is stigma. It causes isolation, lack of collective self-organising, misinformation. -The "alegality" of sex work, which causes a total absence of labour rights (which brings with it insecurity, exploitation ...) and lack of access to health, social, housing resources ...

- Reparto de material preventivo.
- Consultas, derivaciones, acompañamientos (gestiones administrativas, visitas médicas, abortos).
- Café calor: espacio de encuentro, escucha activa, atención al componente emocional, donde se fortalece el vínculo común.
- Salud comunitaria: servicio gratuito de lavandería, duchas y ropa de segunda mano.
- Distribution of preventative material
- Consultations, referrals, accompaniments (to administrative procedures, medical visits, abortions).
- Hot coffee: meeting space, active listening, attention to emotional needs, where our common bond is strengthened.
- Community health: free laundry service, showers and second hand clothes.
