Who do you work with?

Notre organisation travail avec et pour les travailleurs de sexe femme, homme et transgenre, ainsi que les LGBTI.Nous oeuvrons pour défendre les Droits de ces personnes et assurer l'accès aux soins/services de VIH.
Our organisation works with and for female, male and transgender sex workers, as well as LGBTI people. We work to defend the rights of these people and ensure access to treatment/HIV services.

How are sex workers involved in your organisation?

Les travailleurs de sexe sont impliqués dans la prise de décisions par les droits de votes à l'assemblée générale.le notre conseil d'administration est formé des LGBTI ( qui sont des travailleurs de sexe homme, femme et transgenre)
Sex workers are involved in decision-making through their right to vote during the general assembly. The board of directors is constituted of LGBT people (who are male, female and transgender sex workers)

Which of NSWP priority areas does your organisation work on?
Oppose the criminalisation and other legal oppression of sex work and support its recognition as work
Advocate for universal access to health services, including primary health care, HIV and sexual and reproductive health services
Speak out about violence against sex workers, including violence from police, institutions, clients, and intimate partners, while challenging the myth that sex work is inherently gender-based violence
Oppose human rights abuses, including coercive programming, mandatory testing, raids and forced rehabilitation
Challenge stigma and discrimination against sex workers, their families and partners, and others involved in sex work
Advocate for the economic empowerment and social inclusion of sex workers as sex workers
What are the two main challenges that the sex workers you work with face

Les travailleurs de sexe avec qui nous travaillons font face aux deux grand défis suivnant:
- La stigmatisation, discrimination et la marginalisation sociale;
- La vulnérabilité au VIH/SIDA et autres IST car, leur profession les expose d'où la nécessité de renforcer la sensibilisation et la prévention.
Sex workers with whom we work face two big challenges:
- Stigma, discrimination and social exclusion;
- Vulnerability to HIV/AIDS and other STIs as their work exposes them hence the necessity to reinforce sensitisation and prevention.

Nos activités sont les suivantes:
a) prévention:
Causeries éducatives, Prévention en ligne (Réseaux sociaux), Campagnes de dépistage du VIH / SIDA, Distribution couplée des préservatifs et gels lubrifiants
b) Prise en charge:
Visites à domicile, Groupes de parole, Education thérapeutique, Médiation, Les entretiens individuels, Références et contre références, Soutien nutritionnel, Développement des AGR
c) Droits Humains:
Recensement et documentation des cas de violation basée sur le genre, Conseils et accompagnement juridique des cas de violation, es plaidoyers
Our activities are as follow:
a. Prevention:
Learning discussions, online prevention (social media), test campaigns for HIV/AIDS, condom and lube distribution
b. Care and support:
Home visits, group discussions, therapeutic education, mediation, individual interviews, referrals and counter-referrals. Nutrition support, development of AGR
c. Human rights:
Mapping and documenting gender-based violations, counselling and legal advice in case of violation, advocacy
