Yes, selling sex in Croatia is criminalised as a misdemeanour offence. Mostly street sex workers who are targeted but sometimes indoor workers too.
Is buying sex criminalised?
No
Is organising/managing criminalised?
Allowing premises to be used for 'prostitution'; alluring or inciting someone to sell sex; aiding and abetting all criminalised. Advertising of sex services by third parties also criminalised
Is there mandatory HIV/STI testing?
No - although if sex worker appears before court charged with 'prostitution' offences can be ordered for mandatory testing, according to source this has never happened in practice
Is there mandatory registration?
No
Is sex work recognised as work?
No
Is sex work decriminalised with limited regulation?
No
