APDES promotes Porto G, an outreach project designed to support female, male and transgender sex workers who work in indoor settings. Clients and managers are also included in our target population as they are central figures and key influencers in the sex industry that have been consistently left apart from investigation and intervention.
Our team also integrates peers that, as members of the sex work community, have a better knowledge and proximity with the target population. They are involved in the needs assessment, in the conception and review of informative leaflets, in the evaluation of the project's activities and in publicizing the project and in introducing the outreach team to unknown sex work venues.
